St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets

It was terrible, I can't really be bothered to say more only that it wasn't great before but my friends are local to there and so we ventured back in, to no avail at the weekend. A Saturday night and a handful of groupy-samey people. There were so many bar staff, all wandering about aimlessly I felt dangeously outnumbered by the uniformed clones!! God Awful agggh and �15.20 for a bottle of wine. And how elitist is that showing Rugby and not football!!! Not good God am not being fragged there again!!

The Sun Inn, Barnes

Well I went here on Sunday evening after the boat race as it was recommended by a local. I am surprised to read the comments are so negative as my friends and I had a comfortable enjoyable evening. I imagine that the manager must have been ousted, the staff were not the happiest on the planet, but then speaking from experience that is not always possible. I found the service pretty good so may be they are new! I hope everyone who used to like this pub feels safe to venture back there now and we haven't seen the pond yet!
