The Victoria, Hitchin
While visiting the historical market town of Hitchin we stumbled into the 'TARDIS' that is the Vic. The external sliver of Chedder internally becomes a whole Dutch Edam, and when the perfectly kept range of ales were sampled we were ready for Time Travel. Just as well, for that evening the whole town had turned out in 70's garb - apparently just one of the many themed evenings this social pub holds. And Social it is. From the moment we stepped inside, Vic the Landlady welcoming us with a big smile, the regulars drew us into the inner sanctum of this lovely pub. What I wouldn't give a FOUREX for IPA
