Friendly local boozer, lovely atmosphere. IPA is always well kept.

This pub has an great mix of the old charm of the building as well as a relaxed, modern clean environment. It has a pool table, but to be honest I never have had the chance to play as we're always too busy chatting to the staff and the punters at the bar.
They often have mini events on with BBQs and bands, and their lunch menu looks great (although Ive not sampled it myself)
All in all a cracking bar, with a great beer garden, and one I wuld heartily reccomend

first visit last night. Was surprised by the garden. I will be adding this to my list of decent pubs in Hitchin

A fab local - always a great atmosphere and always a smile from behind the bar.

The food menu always looks interesting, but I've yet to test it out - soon! The Sunday roast is meant to be great but the two times I've tried, they've run out so best to book ahead just in case!

Hardly worth mentioning in winter, but the garden round the back is great as well.

They're also excellent supporters of the local community and activities - full marks all round to Vic and co!

Fantastic pub, with a great atmosphere, great staff, and always a good night or afternoon out. Never sampled the food, but it's always looked appetising when I've seen it served. Very very friendly pub, well worth a visit.
