Hideaway, South Wimbledon

Oh dear. What has gone wrong here. An out of the way gastropub with character becomes a charmless eaterie. The selection of lagers is reduced to a barely drinkable stock Dutch pint for �2.90 or if you fancy something tasty you can pay �4.50(!) for Erdinger. Barstaff no longer do table service and to add to the misery greet you with a "you're lucky to get service" attitude. And the pub bore still terrorises the place (owners, barstaff, you know who he is - for god's sake get rid). Used to frequent this place. Now am walking twice the distance for bars I'd written off. What a shame.
