Recently re-opened, this is a great pub, worth searching out. A couple of good local ales served by friendly staff, and a great wine list but all this pales beside the extremely high quality food. I had one of those meals with my wife in which we didn't speak for the duration, as it was far superior to our humdrum chatter. The last time we did that was at Le Gavroche.
