The Coach and Horses, Clapham

The Coach and Horses is a great British Public House (the kind that has made Albion famous), that serves fantastic food and drink - take note the overated and overblown Grey Goose down the road!

The staff are organised, friendly and knowledgeable about the food/drink they sell.

There's always good music on too!

Well done to the stafff at the Coach and Horses!

The Prince of Wales, Holland Park

Prince of Wales, or POW, as the regulars know it. How long they stay regular, is up to the management. I say this because of the increasing number of times, myself and my associates are regularly bemused by the slovenly service the staff seem to employ. Menus, decimated by 'non delivery' of food stuffs....Only this afternoon, myself and two associates ordered food at the bar to be told the Goats Cheese and Tomato Tart was off due to 'non delivery'...of Goat, I imagine...I accepted this as THE ONLY thing off the menu, so I ordered an alternative, only to be told 25 minutes later that the alternative I had ordered was ALSO off the menu...The Chef then enlightened me to the 'small print' on the menu which stated that: 'due to food shortages, certain items will not be able to be served'. No problem...but due to my lack of mindreading powers and foresight, I was unable to work out what was ON the menu..

Get it sorted POW, or the customers that have shown loyalty in the past, will vanish as quickly as your ingredients.
