The Bridge Bar, Beckenham

After being a bit of a regular to this bar over the last year I am disappointed to say it has gone extremely down hill over the last few months (mainly since the opening of the so called "vip bar" down stairs.
I went Saturday night hoping that things might have returned to the way they were before the christmas festivitys but was hugely let down. The music (along with the aging DJ's!) has dried up and the atmosphere is now very pretentious. But then I guess they need to fill the place up what with the extra space downstairs and hence the any old rif raff getting in. The bouncers and bar staff seem to have got very above them selves and have developed the biggest attitudes! What happened to the happy and friendly staff of last summer??
The �5 to get in used to be a small price to pay to get into a great bar however now Im afraid I wouldn't go there if it was free.
Such a shame as this place was the place to go in Beckenham for a quality night out last year, looks as though we will be going else where from now on.
