St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets

This pub has always served reasonable food, both in terms of price and food. The menu was always diverse. However, yesterday, I found the new menu quite conservative. Although the descriptions made the dishes sound enticing, the food itself was a disappointment. Portions were small, tasteless and of poor quality. The meal was obviously produced to a set 'formula' which showed little regard for the customer experience and a high regard for the profit line. The beer and service were good, but the pub's current menu and food are letting the side down.
