The Sussex Arms, Twickenham

I rarely, rarely give anything a 10 out of 10. From women to cars to beer to football performances, but I honestly cannot find one thing to fault this pub on. It's such a brilliant, charming ambient pub with a cracking atmosphere. The beer is brilliantly kept, a cracking range and the food is stunning with a real home made feel.

I guess the only complaint I have about this place is that it's 200 miles away from home.

Pear Tree Inn, Mirfield

Pub has really improved in the past year or so. Landlord is a really decent chap and keeps his glassware clean and his beer in cracking condition. The food is lovely there, reasonably priced. The beer garden is stunning and has its own designated mini bar.

There's a reason why this pub's taking neighbouring pub's trade.
