Called Friday lunch. Barman/landlord(?) demonstrating card trick, between pulling pints (and very good too). Staff and customers very friendly.
Marston's bitter, excellent - �2.50/pint - (why bother with Pedigree).
Also had first class fish, chips and mushy peas (good helping).

Excellent pub. Food great value, good quality and good selection of well-kept beers.
Landlord and staff very friendly.
Carvery, Sunday lunch.
Guess 'Anonymous' was having a bad day.
