| Had works Christmas lunch at the Crown. At the best, it was 'average' - Even those who prefer their vegetables 'al dente' found they were just that bit too hard....the chef wasn't too impressed when advised of this. Bigger portions wouldn't go amiss. Gastranome - 31 Jan 2012 16:54 |

| Called Friday lunch. Barman/landlord(?) demonstrating card trick, between pulling pints (and very good too). Staff and customers very friendly.
