The Thomas Lord, West Meon

My girlfriend and I popped down after hearing that is was the place to eat in hampshire. Well there was only one VEGGY option! We had to wait 45 minutes to order, 30 minutes to get the food. The food was nothing special, tasty, but nothing special for the prices they are charging! Then it took 20 mins for the bill. Heart attack averted by glass of water after looking at the bill and then we left. Nicest thing about the evening was my girlfriend and the drive through hampshire. Don't waste your time!

The Windmill Inn, Four Marks

Great food. New head Chef apparently. We've eaten there a few times now and the food was consistantly good and the atmosphere pleasant. The Garden on a sunny day is a great place to eat, and they have a huge area for kids to play if you bring them along. The steak and the burgers are fab, and cos my girlfriend is a vegetarian she had a lovely pasta dish. I highly recommend this nice Inn / Pub to anyone in the area, or just passing by.
