| Great food. New head Chef apparently. We've eaten there a few times now and the food was consistantly good and the atmosphere pleasant. The Garden on a sunny day is a great place to eat, and they have a huge area for kids to play if you bring them along. The steak and the burgers are fab, and cos my girlfriend is a vegetarian she had a lovely pasta dish. I highly recommend this nice Inn / Pub to anyone in the area, or just passing by. | Nice friendly pub, made very welcome, great selection of Real Ales & largers, Food was fantastic and a great price, I had one of there speciality homemade Rump Burgers with stilton & bacon (lots of other toppings to choose from too) & the wife had the Hunters chicken. | Have recently eaten here and found the food good, service was excellent and would recommend to others. Alot better since the refurbishment. The new food offering is great along with some of the special offers like the new crunch buster menu at only £2.50 for a main meal, fantastic offer and worth every penny.
