The Newt and Cucumber, Birmingham

A quality operation I found when visiting. Heard this one is due a big refurbishment in a couple of weeks, new manager too. Best place for watching Sky Sports, really good atmosphere. Food is really good, staff friendly and helpful. Seems to have all types of customers, makes for a ideal meetiing place after work too. Well worth a visit, I found the music is not too loud and ideal for the time of day

Yard Of Ale, Birmingham

The Yard Of Ale has a new manager and is just about to be refurbished, well needed. I think it will be well recieved by existing and new customers in Birmingham. It is the best city centre pub in Birmingham and should be even better when it re opens. Well worth a visit to try out. Donna, the new manager, is from New Zealand and runs a quality pub.
