The Clapham North, Clapham North

Rude arrogant staff.... I've had better service in Moscow

I've come arcoss some appalling customer service in my time but these idiots take the cake

I came to this dump on Saturday to watch the 2nd Lions test. I usally avoid clapham like the plauge because of the pretentious little turds that frequent the place so I was off to a bad start anyway. I arrived just in time for kick off and made may way through the crowd to the bar. I was served ( for want of a better word) by an angry little man who must of been rehersing for a part in a movie about Mussolini.

As I had no cash on me this rodent abruptly informed me that if I wanted to use my card it was a 10 pound minimum and I had to run a tab. This was fine by me as I just wanted to see the game drink my 10quids worth and get out of the place

so far, so not so good..... I made my way back to a vantage point and started to enjoy my pint and watch the game but it was not to be.

As the place was packed the only position I could find happned to be near a fire exit that was been used as a thoroughfare by people to come in and out of the pub. The litle rodent came past and told me to keep the door shut as he had the aircon on. At first I was a bit shocked as I wasn't sure if this was a request or an order. Being a paying customer I would of hoped that it was a request so I gave him the benifit of the doubt and shut the door

Needles to say that only a few seconds later the door was opened again by patrons moving in and out of the pub... So there I was watching the game minding my own bussiness when along come this little rodent and accused me of opening the door and odrering me to keep it shut.. After recovering from the shock I explained to him that it wasn't me and it's not my job to monitor your fire exits. He then made some kind of bizzare gesture with his hands up against his lips ( like he was impersonating a duck) and told me to get out! ha ha hilarious

I'd lost paitence with with him by now so I told him to go away and leave me alone ( it was a bit more coulorful than that but you get the idea)

I thought the matter was finshed with until I went to get anothr drink and was infomed by his side kick (sideshow bob) That I was no longer welcome. He actulally had no idea of waht had happened, so I asked the little shit to come over to the bar and explain himself. He obviously realised that he was being a prat and wouldn't come over and explain to sideshow bob as to why I was no longer welcome

By this time i'd had enough laughs for the day so I decdied to take my custom elsewhere

All in all an unpleasant experience in this place but I manged to make my frinds laugh when I told them about it. They have all promised me to go there and open the fire exits....just for kicks
