We went on the 5th of November on the evening, the pub has had a change of ownership and the new couple, Charles and Lizzie, were a very energetic and pleasant young couple. Whilst we did not eat on this occasion, we are really looking forward to trying out the menu. Well worth a visit!

In october 2008 the Stag changed owners. We are an independently run country pub that provides freshly prepared locally sourced food at very sensible prices. Based on a simple model of quality food, friendly service and comfortable interior we serve an Anglo-French menu, which changes with the seasons. We hope you come and join us very soon.
