Popped in for a quick one whilst on a walk. 2,Warwickshire beers on, Duck Pond and Darling Buds. As well as Church End Cuthberts which was a beautiful and very welcome pint. Menu looks excellent must bring my good lady. On side of its van it's refered to a eating pub of the year as well as having an Egon ronie plack on the front. Also great whiskey selection.

Been a couple of times and really like the atmosphere, quite a posh clientele so you do get loud people telling their group (and everyone else within earshot) about their fantastic lives and name-dropping until the cows come home, which can be a little tedious. But despite this, worth a visit.

Went here on Saturday - Beer was very good...had a pint from the Warwickshire Brewery before dinner, which was in good nick. The food was just as good as reported, although this site is about BEER, so that is what I am writing about. Would visit again.

Myself and my husband had been recommended The Stag by a couple of our friends so finally decided to take the 25 mile trip to the village of Offchurch over the Easter weekend (Saturday Night). Being from Solihull we are used to a handful of decent Gastro Pubs on our doorstep but NOTHING compares to the FANTASTIC food, service and atmosphere we receive at The Stag. We regularly eat out and so are used to (and bored by) the usual gastro pub style menus with the typical fish & chunky chips, box baked camembert, etc and was thrilled to see the extensive and original menu The stag offered. The food was truly first class. The fish sharing plate was gorgeous and my husband said his fillet steak was the best steak he had ever eaten. The pork tenderloin I picked was equally one of the best meals I have had too. We were welcomed and seated at our table by a very pleasant female manager, another waitress looked after our drink requirements and another manager (this time an extremely knowledgeable male) took our order. Although it sounds like a lot of people, the set up really works and has clearly been tried, tested and perfected by the young and good looking team. We truly had an exceptional evening and left feeling very well fed. The only downside was having to drive 25 miles home as the very well stocked bar and wine list was asking to be drunk!! Next time a taxi would definitely not be out of the question.
