The Elleray Hotel, Windermere
This is a great pub. The toilets are clean, and I mean very clean and you always get a very nice warm welcome. Also, unlike some pubs I could mention in the area, it's very open to people of all "walks of life". I often call in here for a half cider after I've been visiting one of the local cottages, or if there's a good Man City game on.
