Really lovely pub, all the furnishings are great quality and the place was so clean. It had baby changing facilities and a great kids menu. The food was brilliant with decent sized portions and we didnjt have to wait long at all. Would highly recommend :-)

Decent pint of Tetley's with a good range of non-veggie "home-cooked" food, which we enjoyed.

Also had Dent's Rambrau on as guest beer.

And the Campaign for Real Lemonade approved of their ''brew" and that they left the curly straws out for her to choose from.:

Friendly atmosphere. Staff and food excellent. Made my husband, myself and my Guide Dog welcome. Pub close to shops and not far from the lake.

This is a great pub. The toilets are clean, and I mean very clean and you always get a very nice warm welcome. Also, unlike some pubs I could mention in the area, it's very open to people of all "walks of life". I often call in here for a half cider after I've been visiting one of the local cottages, or if there's a good Man City game on.

Great pub. This is the place to go to for cheap, good food at night, especially if you are staying at a Windermere hotel. Chris, the landlord, is a genuine nice guy. He does have accommodation too. Check out the chalkboards, excellent.
