Hideaway, South Wimbledon

This has been my local for 3.5 years. Used to be called Jasper's, then Wilkie's. 14 different bottled Belgian beers (plus a few other kinds of beer on tap), really friendly staff, hell, even the Scottish chef recognised me after I'd only been in there a couple of times!

It is perfect just chilling there with a mate or two, on a sofa, with a tasty Belgian beer warming the cockles of your heart. I guarantee you'll be back, and the fact that it is not a branch of a chain, makes it even better.

I've only ever had the snacky food, which is good, but the restaurant bit at the back is popular enough to know that the main meals are great, too.
