The Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley

Wow what a pub! travelled over for a social function and will definitely make the effort to travel over again. Amazing range of real ales and belgian beers. I understand that there is often live music at a weekend. Great night out.

The Old Plough, Ashton upon Mersey

Totally agree with previous comments about the landlord.However this aside the plough is a good pub with a good atmosphere and decent real ale.

The New Inn, Clitheroe

Best real ale pub in the area. Extensive range of real ales all in top condition. A friendly, busy pub with a great atmosphere.

The Traders Arms, Mellor

This pub has improved greatly under current landlord. We visit regularly and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. A good specials board, fish dishes are particularly good. Beer is the usual thwaites but kept well. Recommend the Wainwright.
