| great pub If you want a toby jug or theme pub then go somewhere else all these comments are rubbish good entertainment good food and a lot done for the local community as for the landlord well would you prefer if the pub was full of idiots where you couldnt have a quiet drink in safety. He really a kid hater and the food in his little dirty resteraunt is to say the least NOT VERY GOOD either. You are also correct Lucy I applaud you both . | COULDN'T AGREE MORE - I HAVE LIVED IN ASHTON ALL MY LIFE AND THE PLOUGH HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FRIENDLY 'LOCAL' THE LANDLORD IS INDEED AN OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE PERSON WHO HAS DRIVEN MANY REGULARS AWAY.
