Dreadful. Been in for a late drink a couple of times violence erupted on both occassiona which I'm told is the norm. Punters are unfriendly and the music is apalling.0/10

Gets very busy and congratulations to the barstaff who manage to serve everyone quickly .Worth a visit.

Open till 3am (charged �3 after 10.30) its a somewhere to go when every where else is shut and your practically guaranteed to pull, which is fine. However some of the punters are objectionably drunk and the bar itself is a dark dingy affair.

Known as the elephants graveyard due to its popularity with the older members of the community.
Two bars large comfortable one upstairs, downstairs has a disco with a miniscule dancefloor.
Reasonable prices for a pub with a W1 postcode. As mentioned in previous reviews the bouncers are the usually surly lot and the barstaff aren't very good

79 CXR, Charing Cross Road
Now changed it's name to Manbar. Went Sasturday for the first time since the change, it's a massive improvement. Music is at least halfway decent compared to before, drinks reasonably priced much better atmosphere and a larger and better looking crowd. Will be back
