Was out with some Gay Friends around Soho and as a Beer Bellied Real Ale swilling CAMRA member, I didn't expect to find anything decent but the London Pride was very drinkable, albeit it in plastic glasses but it was our choice to drink "Al Fresco". Exceptionally busy on a Saturday night but bar staff were very quick and no issues in getting served. The other ale on offer was Speckled Hen but am not a fan of GK! Cider was in bottles and from the Westons range. The atmosphere in Old Compton St. on a Saturday night is great so if you're in Soho, and fancy a decent beer, then worth a visit.

Can be very cruisy, and desperately crowded, but if you can get a seat, it can be pleasant enough. Upstairs can be a nice place to meet people, and very comfortable.

Not so keen on Comptons these days, popped in again over the weekend; has been a massive change of bar staff for the better I would say, but certainly doesn't have the charm that it used to..used to be really friendly but now very much just like many other west end pubs. Makes me laugh how there are posters in the pub saying they are now charging st8 prices, not rip off gay prices...do they mean we were being ripped off before?
