Had the worst pint of pedigree here before fling to Switzerland, all cloud and to cold. When I asked for another pint to replace it, I was told nothing was wrong with it. Sums up Wetherspoons

Closed for refurbishbent at the moment, but a whole range of beers coming on draught including belle Vie kreek, can not wait.

Quality of real gone down lately. Used to be the best pub in the area for the quality of ale, but alas no more. Will have to travel to Herne Hill or Dulwich Village for a qulaity ale.

The Cherry Trees, South Norwood
As a regular on match days, the quality of real ale is vastly imrpoved. Shame about the dodgy carpet on the raised area.

Typical wetherspoons. Smells of old men, pis, satle bber, and terrible service. Avoid like the plague.

Had a quality pint of hopback odessy with the captain last night. Nice atmosphere, and i think it is a massive improvement having seats in front of the pub so that you can watch the world go by.

Good constructive critism tanderson. The place gets rammed, but I think the staff do an ok job, especially with the attitude of some customers who have the attitude 'Don't you know who i am, I live in Dulwich?' Yes the staff are not perfect, but they always up for a laugh, and is the only pub for miles around that does a decent pint of real beer.
And no I don't work there, just a regular customer

Escape Bar and Art, Herne Hill
Awful, Awful, Awful. Went back in for the first time lastFriday, and never again. Flooding toilets, crap staff, no decent beer on tap. Best bet in Herne Hill is to go to the Commercial next door, or don't drink in Herne Hill

As the only pub open on boxing day it wins my vote as pub of the area now, unlike George Canning.

Cracking pub with a good range of beers. They have a good quiz on sunday nights as well, though we struggle with it most weeks.

typical wethersppons, full of the usual low life scumbags you find in most wetherspoons. Nice pint of Caladonian XPA last night though.
