The Chequers, Walton On The Hill

typical youngs establishment, bit of a cliche after vising several others over the years. could do with some atmosphere as it seems to lack that abit, some of the staff could do with a couse in manners, the food was ok, beer not bad, but the taste of other peoples smoke when eating never goes down well

The Blue Ball, Walton On The Hill

bit better than the bell, still a smoking pub, bar staff and waitresses not very aesthetically pleasing though. could be better and certainly has potential, could do with a refurb

The Bell, Walton On The Hill

if you enjoy smokey small pubs where the old men leer at your girlfriend and you feel very much out of place, unless you are over say 50 years of age then pls go there. food? i didnt feel brave enough to eat there so finished my drink and left. very much a locals pub

The Fox and Hounds, Walton On The Hill

visited the pub recently after the refurb, must say it is an enjoyable place to be on a friday evening, when i visited. the staff friendly, and dare i say attractive, the food delicious and the late licence well recieved. NO being thrown out at 11 or 12 abruptly{take note other pubs in village}, good crowd and music to cater for most people. best of all no smoking!!!!!fresh air in a pub at last. the beer was good {london pride still holding form} will definitely be back
