Prepare to roast if visiting from August onwards as it is 'company policy' to have the heating on full regardless of weather conditions. Crazy policy that seemingly stops many locals from visiting myself included.

Yes a lovely pub BUT on my last visit the beers were far too cold thus destroying all flavour. This needs sorting, this is basic stuff.
Great location and nice acoustic nights on Thursdays.

Shabby pub dominated by it's tv's. Smellly ladies toilets on our visit. Bar staff look at you as if you have two heads when you question their tv policy.

Nice old fashioned pub. Great cheap and generally good meals . Beer well kept as a rule. Sadly quiz nights now on Thursdays and Tuesdays (Why?)
Bar staff look at you stupid when you ask them to put the beer in first in a pint of shandy but there you go!
No music (yes!) No machines (yes!)

The Ship Inn, Haskayne
As already been stated by someone else the bitter is let down by being kept at far too cold a temperature. Please sort this out as it's the only fly in the ointment but a big one at that.
