Paradise By Way Of Kensal Green, Kensal Green

The Paradise is my favourite watering hole in Kensal Green. At first I was cautious about the refurb but when I went for the dinner the staff were charming, the atmosphere welcoming and the food was amazing - definately worth treating yourself to dinner as well as having the bar snacks sometimes if you fancy something less formal. I went and watched some live bands upstairs after dinner with a glass of organic red. Contrary to the previous review I was pleased to see this beautiful old building only enhanced by the changes made to it the inside.

The Queen Boadicea, Clerkenwell

Had my birthday weekend at the Boadicea and it made turning 30 a whole lot easer!

Ate like a king, drank myself silly and all with my best mate providing the tunes

Thanks to peter the GM who picked my up from the floor at the end of the night!

Best birthday ever!

The Westbury, Kilburn

Ed chemical playing in my new local?! Ed chemical of the chemical brothers!!! Nuf said!
My night started innocently enough with a game of pool with the lads, misses came to join me for some food (the roasts are fit for a king!) and I discovered a new drink Gin-ginnie (well my misses did)
Will be back next week, and the week after, and the week after.........

The Old Queens Head, Islington

The Old Queens Head has to be my favourite pub in the Islington area. If you're into your music there is literally nowhere else you can go along and see DJs of that calibre playing in a pub.

Along with that, I've never had a bad experience with the staff or service there and would definitely rate the food. The speed dating night is always a laugh aswell.

It also has a really cool crowd of people and a lot of hot women!
