The Podium, Moorgate

last time I went in the no longer had SkyTV, which sucked as I went there especially to see some sport match on in the middle of the day...

The London Stone, Cannon Street

this place is a gem of a find, tucked away downstairs with no windows gives it a dungeon feel which goes well with the spooky/gothic/eerie pub co theme they've got going on.
such a contrast to the All Bar One next door, I know which one I'd prefer to drink in.
The music could be improved however, was a bit too "poppy" which didn't suit the surroundings.
and you must at least once do all the 7 deadly sins (cocktails) and then receive your 2 free ones (then try and find the loos!)

The Famous 3 Kings (F3K), West Kensington

great pub for watching the Rugby recently when the All Blacks, Aussies and Saffas were over.
the guy with the mic is a bit of a laugh, does get a bit annoying though, was funny when every screen had a different Rugby match on, so he explained that anyone who wanted to watch football would have to F-off! ;-)

best pub in London for watching live rugby, better than any Walkie

The Podium, Moorgate

I found this pub a refreshing change to the usual city pubs, but is definitely only worthy of an average rating.
On the plus side it has SkyTv on plenty of well placed LCD screens, and good ventilation (non-smoker), and is good place to go to get away from any pretentious types.
Let down by is poor ale selection of just London Pride and one other 3.something % ale.
I'd go back again...
