I agree with Boltontraveller but I and my family go for the food which is always "homemade" and very good indeed.

Lovely. Called on a busy Bank Holiday and managed to get a table. Landlord and landlady very pleasant and helpful
Staff smiling and cheerful, great food, great atmosphere would def recommend to friends. My wife, a vegetarian, most impressed with the choices for her.

Have visited several times over the last 20 years or so and have never had a bad meal. Staff very pleasant food homemade and delicious. Well done.
