The Fox and Hounds, Coaley

Took over last year by a young couple and they have done wonders with the place. Ales vary but are well kept, food is good, atmosphere is good although can be busy. Book if yo want to eat. Well worth a visit.

The Amberley Inn, Amberley

Good selection of well kept local ales, just eaten there and staf are friendly, food excellent and a nice place to be. Not basic bar food but steak, fish and game on menu. Will be returning soon.

The Seven Springs, Seven Springs

Too commercial and too cheap. No decent ales. Shame.

The Old Fleece, Woodchester

Good food, nicely decked out, could do with a couple more ales though but what was on was fine. Nice staff.

The Old Crown, Uley

Great ales. Well worth a 40 min walk! Haven`t eaten here yet but know several who have and they say its good. Billiard table something different too!

The Halfway House, Box

Great for a pint after an evening`s xc bike ride! Usually a few good beers on. Nice decor and furniture. Haven`t eaten there for a few years. Haven`t had chance, thats all!

The Fox and Hounds, Coaley

Good selection of ales, food good, friendly atmosphere. Was better before old landlord built a house on the beer garden and part of the car park. Small car park is a down point on a busy night. Other than that, tres bien!
