Nice cask ale on tap tonight, however we were in the back room and it was like being an extra in an episode of the Inbetweeners (with a hint of Shameless). Real open fire was a great touch

Another lick of paint. Service is still slow, beer is pricey but offers a more continental selection.

Everything a great local boozer should be. Sport, decent rock music (ie. chav free zone), good bunch of welcoming locals - they all made me feel welcome.
Dart team, pool team. I'm just new to the area but it's the only pub I've been to where they mainly play round-the-board in a darts league.
The beer is well kept, only downside personally is a lack of a cask ale or five

It's your typical run of the mill JD Wetherspoons. Enough old folk to sink a battleship in during the day, with the chav population rising as the time on the clock increases. Predictably the same as most other Wetherspoons.
