Not the sort of pub I would go to just for a pint but does consistently good food whenever I have been there and from reports from friends.

We like this pub as it does very nice vegetarian food which isn't the usual quiche or pasta bake. Beer is usually ok.

Has recently changed hands and new managers are doing a good job of trying to pull this pub into the 21st century . Staff are friendly and welcoming. Quiz nights and kareoke plus more entertainment planned. New menu which I haven't yet tried.
