Lantokay, Street

Ideal if you like sitting in draughts and with food embedded in the carpet beneath your feet. This is the worse 'spoons we've ever set foot in.
Surly miserable staff don't make you welcome.
A long wait for our food though there were hardly any other diners.
There are plenty of eating places in Street so don't bother coming here.

The Bucket and Spade, Weston Super Mare

Avoid, avoid, avoid. This pub needs a serious refurb. The place is filthy dirty, the service and food is appalling and we will never go back.

The Cerdic, Chard

Qiuck to be served.Cheap microwave food. Only come in as it's on the way to Chesil Beach and I get something more than promised fish.

The Hoops Inn, Horns Cross

When you drive by it's natural to say 'ooh!'
A wonderful atmospheric pub, by the bar.
The food prices are expensive to what you actually get on the plate.
The vegetarians are virtually ignored here. Shame as many people are these days.
The place is frequented by the landed gentry, posh voices welcome.

The Red Lion Hotel, Clovelly

A lovely setting for this pub. Food is pricey but you are paying for freshness and the ambience of the place. Don't pay to go into Clovelly, there are free routes into the village which locals use!

The Wagon and Horses, Clevedon

Surprised this place still exists after living here for 38 years I've never seen such a timestuck pub.

Crab Apple Inn, Clevedon

Poor food and service. It's as if the will to cook proper food just upped and died. Not surprised it's now closing down.Dire.

The Clock Tower, Clevedon

This pub has shut thank goodness.

The Nelson Arms, Churchill

A great family place to eat out at. Decent carvery with plenty to eat.
There's vegetarian options available which aren't fantastic but edible. Well worth the visit.

The Little Harp Inn, Clevedon

The refurbishment is very well done, though you are paying for it in the costly but standard meals.
We've eaten in there several times but wouldn't go again.
The meals claim to be fresh...yes,out of the microwave.
Difficult to arrest the attention of the bar staff when ordering drinks so menu waving helps.

The Stag and Hounds, Churchill

Nice pub with a wide selection of well priced dishes all 2-4-1.
Pity that no-one has yet informed the chefs that the food coming out of their kitchen should actually be served hot if it's not a salad or icecream.
The first time we were served stone cold food we were informed it was a 'one off.' That was until we returned and the meat and gravy meal served was icily cold. You would think that even meals heated up in the microwave would be hot, but obviously their microwave can only defrost not heat up.
Just avoid unless you like cold meals.
