The Monkey Puzzle, Southwood

Typical brewers Fayre pub. The food is cheap and tastes worse than a supermarket ready meal. Huge garden for kids to run around in. Bargain basement to take a family for a meal out. Not really a choice of drinkers.

The Heron on the Lake, Fleet

Lovely location by the lake, perfect on a summer afternoon. The food is around the ten pound mark but is a bit more upmarket than average pub fayre and that's what you pay in Rip off Britain. I've eaten a few times and not had a problem with the quality.

The Swan, Ash Vale

Great location by the canal, lovely garden, superior if slightly pricey food. Great choice of beers, Leffe on tap. Somewhere you'd eat out at for a special occasion, wide range of choices and extensive specials board. One of the nicest pubs in the area. As for lack of children's facilities, that's probably deliberate to keep away screaming bad tempered hyperactive brats. Besides the good food would be wasted on most kids.

The Tradesmans Arms, Cove

The pub has recently been redecorated and is much improved. The leaky smelly gents has been sorted out and now I feel comfortable to use the facilities instead of holding on half wetting myself until getting home for relief. The pub now has a kind of sports bar feel with comfy booths and a large screen tv. Thankfully It still has its pool table and darts board. Seems to be attracting a bit more custom now.
Doesn't deserve such a low rating, its only because its averaged over all reviews going back years.

The Thatched Cottage, Farnborough

The food is cheap but pretty basic standard. Good garden for a sunny day but they seem to have a real problem in the way they keep their beers. Far too many bad pints to want to go back again. It's a shame as its such an attractive pub.

The Ham and Blackbird, Farnborough

It serves average bar food and average beer, a very average pub which you wouldn't go out of your way to visit. Convenient for the train station. With Farnborough lacking eating places at least you can get food here.

The Alexandra, Farnborough

The refurb is ok, just seems to lack a bit of atmosphere to me. Tried the food, it was ok pub fayre at a reasonable price. Decent beer and choice of ciders.
