The White Swan, Pimlico

This is my local. Not because it's my closest pub but because it's the closest pub to me that feels like a local.

Andrews comments certainly no longer apply. The Beer is well kept and the staff are very friendly. Never had cause to use the loos so can't comment there.

The Square and Compass, Worth Matravers

The cider here is wonderful and it's a perfect watering hole after a tough day chilling out on the dorset coast.

They run stone sculpture workshops here too and one a good day you can almost see France. In deed, oddly enough the only mobile phone network I could pick up here was french!

The Dogs are friendly and theres a nice walk to the coast nearby where I often go swimming in the sea off the rocks. Watch out for the occasionally strong current though.

Top Pub. I love queuing up for the serving hatch and sinking those pints of scrumpy (especially the organic stuff)

The Walkabout, Covent Garden

Never go here, especially the ladies. This is the worst meat market of the lot in Covent Garden and that's really saying something.

The Langley, Covent Garden

The Happy hour is definately a selling point here. You'll find that as with a lot of places, the ratio of ladies is higher earlier on in the night. I've met some very nice people here but it's usually worth moving on before the leering hoards turn up. In my opinion the best time to be there is between 6:00pm and around 10ish.

The drinks a rather expensive outside of happy hour but then this is the west end.

The Roadhouse, Covent Garden

I've only ever been on a Saturday night and I've been twice. The Band was good, the place was rammed, and boy is it a meat market! Full of Hen Nights. Both times I went there were at least three. Mind you, it is the summer! It can be difficult to move around and talking definately isn't an option. Had a good dance and met a nice lady.
