The Lock Tavern, Camden

very nice bar, good music, like the staropramen, but it's just a bit up itself... last time i was in, i saw someone with a t-shirt saying, i wasn't born in camden but i got there as soon as i could. says it all really

one of the nastiest bars i've ever been in... maybe it's better as a venue, but - and i like dingey - this bar was just too dingey too deal with

The Liberties Bar, Camden

good (and cheap) comedy upstairs on wednesday, friendly (enough) barstaff - nothing spectacular but a pleasant place to spend an evening with friends

Quinn's, Camden

greatest pint of guinness i've ever had outside dublin, amazing staff - the brothers are brilliant, especially kevin, and the parents are just a little frightening but fantastic fun. if you like good beer and a quiet pint, come here, but not too many of you, i like it just the way it is. i'm staying in london because of this bar.
