this pub / restaurant has just been extensivly
re-furbished . NOT A BREWSTERS ANYMORE..!
good menu for me , and the food
hit the spot . the wine was offered in a novel way
out of 'barrels...' from the bar , however this works
,it did do the [white ] wine justice !
give this place a try !

.....went for food for the first time...yesterday ,
couldnt help but be impressed.... the wine list was extensive , with a nice dry house white at �9.99 .
food was excellent [ i would recomend you make a reservation at weekend...] they just managed to squeeze us in at 6pm on a saturday ... these people obviously care , the tables are well presented , and the menu was varied , the food was great , i can recommend this place.... if you can find it !!

cant comment on the beer ....
but the food is great...! fresh cooked
and always hot ,,,and good portions

Duke of York Inn, Grindleton
,,,,,,,,, very DISAPPOINTED...... went easter monday .... booked early
got there at 6pm ...
... service was slow... tho it did became busy after our starters arrived,,,
they where good .... and the highlight,,,, went down hill from there....!
...i had chicken pie with... saute potatoes....tho these where cremated ! then my wifes... haddock mornay veg / mash arrived.... COLD... AND fish UNCOOKED ... ! it was sent back...
i ate my food ... while my wife ..............waited
20 mins later her food returned .... slight apology....
so.......ordered .... sticky toffee pud for my wife,,,as a treat..
.25 mins later
no show ,,,! and id had enough !... asked to pay....
asked if they where charging for .... MANY mistakes....answer....YES
no worry they had poss poisened my partner !
SO paid ...and left.... AVOID
