The Drummond, Guildford

Wow, what a change. The last time I came in here it was a bit spit, stella and sawdust, the place was heaving with ruddy faced old rogues. A mate said it had changed so I gave it a go. Fantastic selection of draught beers, Burts crisps, vast selection of food on the menu, albeit rather pricey, plenty of comfy sofas/cushions and a great atmosphere. Quite a bit of room outside too if the sun decides to shine. To boot, not a piss stained tramp in sight.

Cafe Cairo, Clapham North

this place is amazing, great friendly staff, beer now on tap, hookah pipes available and overall the only place i know like it in this country. come here you won't regret it.

All Bar One, Guildford

Great food and cocktails if you're an eccentric millionaire but bar staff clearly find it an inconvenience having to serve you.

The Britannia, Guildford

Plenty of fitties on show, footy, pool tables and 'Delirium.' Food nothing special though and overpriced even by Guildford standards. Car park provides great showcase for pikey Nova's and XR3's. Laissez faire reputation towards herbal entertainment richly undeserved as I found to my detriment.

The Live and Let Live, Guildford

Been here once, locals fell silent when I went in, quickly got drink (wise not to get drunk unless you have Special Branch and US Secret Service in toe) and made my way to the 'Secret Garden.' This was a patio with a 10 foot high brick wall and tatty white patio set. Best of all I had a chewed dog toy and a steaming heap of dog shit for company.

The Five and Lime, Guildford

In my humble opinion this is indeed the best bar in Guildford, great food, great music, top selection of beers, friendly staff, scum quota zero...what more can I say?

Flares, Guildford

Was an overpriced, overrated ponce hole, now mostly heaving of an evening with semi scum who have graduated from Wetherspoons - the Guildford chav's 'Chinawhites.' Hiking boots and a compass recommended if you need to use the toilets

Bar Med, Guildford

Dear God in Heaven this place is truly awful. Zebra patterned seats, stale flat lager, poor food and worst of all bar service and clientele that make you wish you had carried on to Yates.

Scrumptious, Guildford

This pub was always like walking into an elderly relatives living room, now it's had a internal makeover and it's looking rather good. Great soul food menu, Guiness as good as it's ever been and a late licence. Well worth a visit just hope the Guildford 'one way' charvers stay away.
