Leyton Orient Supporter's Club, Leyton

I cannot speak more highly of this club bar, really nice stewards working behind the bar, serving the Best Ale around.
There must have been a choice of at least 8 handpumps of genuine delicious ale, and bottled ales too. We were there for a football match , plenty of space, smashing sandwiches which were snapped up by most of the away supporters , the prices of the ale and the food are unbelievable, at 2.30 a pint, seeing is believing!!, we were so impressed we will be returning, even when our team is not playing Leyton Orient Football Club.

The Bull, Colchester

What a great pub now they cater for Real Ale lovers, Would not have set foot in it a while a go, but now with a choice of 3 good ales, and the food is good.
Friendly girls at the bar !Nice atmosphere on sporting Saturdays.

Used to be a great real ale pub, until it changed to Greedy King. The food is good, but the ale is not up to much.

The Odd One Out, Colchester

This is the most scruffy pub in the whole of Colchester, with the pub not being decorated since 1920 -who cares.
I don't care, because the beer is served at THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE , this is one of the few pubs in Colchester that gets this right, the selection could be a little better, the Cheese rolls are recommended, at 1.10, maybe alittle overpriced but nice all the same.
The pub is run by John Parrot ,who has a great knowledge of Good British Ale. He is a nice enough guy, but has rules, and shouldn't be messed with.

The Fox and Fiddler, Colchester

Mmm, Have used the pub about 17 times this year, the beer is normally ok, though the landlord should have more of a choice of guest beers in my opinion, and not the same ones.
Recently the beer had gone up to 2.70 a pint, which really for a freehouse is TOO MUCH, especially as there are more pubs around Colchester jumping on the real ale bandwaggon.
Nikki is a real credit to the pub and offers a warm personality. The pub is ok , but I think it could improve on beer selection.

The Rose, Norwich

Just thought I should praise this pub, this was the final of a crawl of pubs a group of us finished with on Saturday night.
We had never been before, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the people and the bar staff, also I would recommend this pub to anyone who loves foreign beers, this pub has it all, many ales from all over Britain, and were serving Good Indian food. Although I only visit Norwich 3 times a year, this will be one I will be heading back to when I return.
