Large pub with a great range of well kept ale. Popped in here before a Norwich game and the home fans were friendly as were the staff. Been here several times and been impressed each time.

hi everyone, i just wanted to invite you all to our next beer festival it starts
Friday 6TH July - Sunday 15th July
Sausage and Beer Summer festival at the Rose pub (235 Queens road, Norwich)
We would like to welcome all, to our second sausage and beer festival of the year, for this summerfest we have chosen the region of Staffordshire to supply us with 24 different types of beer, from eight different breweries. Accompanying these fine beers we also have 26 local beers all from independent breweries around our region.
Entertainment throughout the festival includes- race night for charity, Pool tournament, wine tasting, sausage and beer tasting, quiz night and lots, lots more.
With food being served every lunchtime 12-2.30pm and 6-9pm every evening and authentic curries served 5-10.30pm every evening
So please come along and support your local breweries and taste some fine beer at the same time!!

Just thought I should praise this pub, this was the final of a crawl of pubs a group of us finished with on Saturday night.
We had never been before, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the people and the bar staff, also I would recommend this pub to anyone who loves foreign beers, this pub has it all, many ales from all over Britain, and were serving Good Indian food. Although I only visit Norwich 3 times a year, this will be one I will be heading back to when I return.

The last pub from yesterdays post football ale crawl. As the below comment states they currently have their beer festival on. I am not to sure how many ales were available but a very wide choice. A very friendly pub both staff and customers. Yesterday was the curry tasting event as well. I tasted the madras curry once officially and once sneakily. As it had been quite a session yesterday we were rather hungry by now. I thought I better order an official one now and pay for it.
