Great pub - good food and always an excellent selection of real ales. Has undergone a number of changes since John left - but beer has always been excellent. Despite the number of pubs in the surrounding area, most of which are nearer to our home, we always go back to the Royal Oak!!

Good pub serving interesting beers at a reasonable price. bar staff friendly and efficient!
Food good too!
