The Buddle Inn, Niton

My wife and I found out about The Buddle Inn through an Isle of Wight brochure. We found this pub to have a lot of history, it is really a beautiful pub. Not only that but when we first stopped in for a mid-day pint the bartender was very hospitable and she shared some of the history of the place. The pub overlooks the water and is very picturesque. I enjoyed a Flowers bitter and my wife enjoyed a Carling. Later that evening after touring the southern part of the island we stopped back for a terrific dinner. I am baffled that this pub has a rating lower than an 8. I think the place is under new ownership because it was one of the nicest pubs we visited in England. - Dean

The White Rose, Mumbles

We visited The White Rose back on July 29th, 2007. This indeed is the start of The Mumbles Mile and what a great place to get started! Their ales and bitters are top notch. They've got a menu with extensive choices and the prices are very good. Don't start The Mumbles Mile without visiting "The White Rose" first! - Dean

The Pilot, Mumbles

The Pilot Is Reopened!!! We visited the "The Pilot" on July 29th, 2007 while attempting to drink "The Mumbles Mile." The new proprietor is a terrific hostess and we found her pub to be very inviting with a really fun crowd. All of her ales and bitters were top notch. If ever in Swansea go the extra mile and visit "The Pilot" along The Mumbles Mile! lechyd Da! - Dean Williams
