The Hedgehog and Pheasant, Pimlico

Used to enjoy going to this pub. Very friendly staff and quality gov. Seems he got the chop and now prices have gone through the roof while service and food has dropped. Doesnt merit its prices anymore. No beers on draught now. Thought this was a Greene King. I now prefer the Marquis (quality and good beers) and the new Page(good service, good food but pricey, mines a Los Cardos. Why cant good pubs last?

The Fentiman Arms, Kennington

Cant agree more. Massive prices for very little reward. 3.70 a pint, is this the west end? Cant afford their food, but have tried the scampi as it was one of the few things under a 10. Shocked at their lack of effort. nice venue but everything else is wrong. Liked the garden but cant be bothered with the wait. Im off down the Albert, a mini Fenti in my book..

The Canton Arms, South Lambeth

Have been to this pub a few times. Good size but lacks in diversity. Usual choice of poor lagers, nothing cool. Pint of Landlord is very popular at moment and its Ok here. Avoid the food! Area has better pubs.

The Royal Albert, South Lambeth

Lived in the area for a while now. Was always a Fenti regular but their prices and attitude drove me away. What do you know, a few blocks away sits this gem of a pub. Looks like new landlords, new interior, new exterior, money well spent. Great beers like Tribute and lagers so cheap. Cobra at 2.90, bargain tho my mates drink the Peroni. Great food and they dont rip you off. Will be back every sunday for my roast and to watch the sport. Great Pub!!
