The Victoria Hotel, Keighley

well what to say bobbed into this midweek to find 4 school kids one still had shirt and tie (part hidden under his coat)
the pub itself is quite large however it needs a really good clean loads of advertising for sports but after seeing the children in there drinking beer i had a quick half and left needless to say i will never return

Tempest Arms, Elslack

the pub has several split areas for eating with a larger dining area and several smaller areas however it has a rather small bar for the size of the place.
this pub is very much a food pub first beer after they have a good range of beers on for the beer drinkers around.
we stopped for a meal and as always was served with a smile and very fast the food was of brilliant quality and a good amount for both of us i got to nick a few chips off the mrs ha ha. its abit pricey however the qualitys good which counts more to me.

it has a large carpark to the side enough to fit around 40 cars and is set in a quiet area so you don't get young idiots around, the smoking area is set well away from the pub which is a brilliant idea.
thumbs up for this pub

The Fleece Inn, Haworth

visited this pub on 2 occassions the first being spring and the second being 1940's weekend
The pub itself is split into separate areas with the bar straight ahead, so you can find a quiet area if you want
spring we entered the pub which was warm and seemed nice a cosey there were around 15-20 people in at the time and all seemed in a happy mood. i ordered a pint of landlord and a wine for the mrs it was quite pricey, however the beer was good.
1940's weekend entering the pub it was warm and really really busy and when we managed to get to the bar we were greeted with a smile and asked what we would like i ordered a pint of landlord and again a wine for the mrs. i was shocked to find the price had risen when we had only been there abit before the 1940's weekend i paid.

i am shocked that with the beer being the same standard as last time and the wine being the same as last time the price gone up only to over hear a regular being charged slightly less when he ordered the same pint as me.
the bar staff need to remember who visits before they put you prices up next time and it was not a normal pub increase (visitors price increase and normal prices for the regulars)

Haworth Old Hall, Haworth

cracking big pub with brilliant decor and a real log fire for keeping warm on a cold winters day.
I dropped in just after 8.30pm on a wednesday (fish night which i didn't know about will be visiting soon for that) the bar staff seemed happy to be there and to say it was rather busy i got served with a pint of real ale nice and quickly, they had 6 real ales on and what looked like some interesting guest ales to come. The beers are a good price and tasted very crisp and fresh, the pubs atmosphere was a happy one and i did notice a very nice entiseing cooking smell upon entering.
will be visiting again soon
