The Curtain's Up, West Kensington
Excellent pub for a drink or a meal. Friendly staff, one of the best burgers I have had, good range of lagers. Well worth a visit.

My first visit since the refit and I was very impressed. A very pleasant new no smoking area, friendly staff and I thought the food very good. Now serving food all day. Looking forward to my next visit.

A Wetherspoons from another planet!
Fast service at the bar, even though the pub was busy. Staff always on the floor clearing glasses and wipping down tables. My bottle of wine was placed into a ice bucket - never known before at any Wetherspoons I have visited - food very good and a large portion.
A non -smoking pub, highly recommended.

Further to my review below, I popped in yesterday to have a quick drink (after checking there was a clean table to sit at) and am pleased to report much improvement.
Prompt service at the bar, clean tables, staff clearing plates and glasses, a much more pleasant experience.
I ordered a meal and it was served promptly on a hot plate and the food was fine.
Keep up the good work.

What a pity that this lovely building is home to such a filthy pub. Everytime I visit I see dirty plates, glasses and menus all over the place. A dirty knife and fork on the floor on my last visit. Food was luke warm, took ages to get served. It is such a pity. Needs a good Manager to sort the place out. Toilets spotless. Shame about the rest of the pub.
