This is a fantastic place full of atmosphere. Has Truman's runner and one other bitter on tap, and St Peter's bottles available. Staff very friendly. Could recommend more

This is a wonderful pub, especially the Victorian drinking boxes. Had a pint of orchard pig, which was in excellent condition.

Why is this pub not in the top 40? It's rating is high, and I thought you had to have 25 ratings to qualify?

The Horse and Groom, Great Portland Street
A good quality sam smiths, with a very nice sky light in the back room

I can't believe the other reviews posted here. This is a fine, classy pub which deserves a much higher rating than 3! Yes it is a little snobby, but if you over look that, it is a fine pub, with great atmosphere and a good selection of ales!

This is one of the best pubs in Edinburgh. Great selection of ales at good prices.
