Gets very busy during the weekend, and have never had a bad experience here. Bar staff seem more professional than the other Wetherspoons in Bexleyheath. Not too bad at all

I've always found this place a bit dead on a friday or saturday night, yet it seems to take an eternity to get served, despite behind the bar being more busy than in front of the bar. Whilst the staff seem friendly, there is a very uneasy atmosphere in the place, it seems you constantly have to watch your back! The food (if they have what you want) is OK, but they could do with someone to collect the glasses, and maybe make the place a lot more presentable!

The Moon Under Water, Leicester Square
Find the atmosphere a bit hostile and uneasy sometimes. Also deceptively small with hardly anywhere to sit. However, the staff are nice and friendly, and your never waiting too long.

The Montagu Pyke, Charing Cross Road
Very busy on a saturday night, with a great atmosphere, but felt it was slightly understaffed as it took 20 mins to find my way to the front of the bar and get served.
A lot quieter during the day, almost too quiet. Apart from an alarm which goes off every five minutes!
Best to go when it's busy, but not too busy!

The Crooked Surgeon, Leicester Square
Seems to be a small range of draught beers, and at West End prices. Food has gone a bit upmarket, and the decor seems good. Staff are friendly and helpful, and I was suprised when a waitress offered to take my order. Seems to be a friendly crowd in there, however don't expect to get a seat during the football or on a friday & saturday night!

The Lost Hour, Greenwich
Recently was redecorated. The amount of pictures, mirrors and other stuff on the wall is a bit over the top, but sofas and toilets have been fixed (thank God!). Not a place for the Real Ale fans, but if your a student or of similar age, then you won't want to leave this place.
