Nice pub, extorntionate prices, but well worth a visit if you can afford it. Lovely staff too

The Dew Drop Inn, Hurley

Fantasic pub, lovely location, GREAT owners and absolutely fantastic, freshly made food. So very welcoming, great atmosphere and the shuttle bus srvice is great, as when you're staying in Hurley it's the best pub for miles.

The Rising Sun, Hurley

I have been to this pub quite a few times, and must say I wasn't very impresses with it. It's in a nice village, which the pub doesn't suit. Seems to attract the local ruffians.
The food is ok, some of it is nice (namely the fish and the beef and ale pie), but most of it is obviously microwavable, as when I mentioned my nut allergy, the cook didn't know if there were nuts in 90% of the food.
Has the potential to be a good little place, but I think it will take a while.
