This pub is indeed closed, but boarded up and for sale. I think HTM69 is thinking of the Brickmakers Arms on Luton Road. The ex-Landlord, one of a notorious local criminal family bought this and renovated it. He did succeed in turning it around for a while, and the place appeared to be thriving, although no ales were on tap. However, he failed to keep up with the mortgage payments and the place has been repossessed. I guess crime doesn't pay.

I know this pub was actioned off very recently. Haven't seen it open since. Quite likely yet another closed Medway pub.

This pub was on the telly last night. Cracking boozer if you ask me, can't understand the negative feedback.

I tried calling the number on the advertising board to check out the lease details, but the number is dead.

This pub is closed and appears to be a private residence. A crying shame as it looked a corker of a boozer.
